The direct match for third place takes place on Monday, and they arent't any favorites in the the game of Bologna against Juventus. Since January, Bologna lost only once and that was entirely justifiable in the narrow 0-1 defeat against Inter. Around this defeat, Bologna had won eight times in a row. The club's steps towards third place have now become somewhat smaller, which means that the team is making to many draws. Four of the last six games ended in a draw, and Bologna was also unable to win against clubs like Frosinone, Monza or Udinese. In between, there were victories against Roma and Napoli, which were actually stronger clubs. Bologna has already secured qualification for the Champions League, now it's just a matter of placement. They are tied with Juventus and are third with 67 points, although Atalanta follows with 66 points. Juventus have only won two of their last 15 league games. Three of the last four games between those two opponents end without a winner. |
